Changine the belt on a XB series Buell
This question deals with the joys and tribulations of changing the 2003 XBR drive belt. Blew the belt off coming back from a ride and had a nice push home (about a mile
), and now trying to decide if A) Replace the belt w/factory unit or
B) Replace belt with chain and sprockets
Money is an issue too; $175 to HD or about $230 for the chain set up (with an under $100 chain replacement in the future). While our membership is still low, and most on Indians, I figure I'd post this for future members.
