92" flywheels

Post  honestcharlie on Wed 17 Dec 2008, 2:55 am

What is stroke on 92" flywheels? Is there enough meat for cutting clearance for rods at top of cases between cylinders? Must be unless it is necessary to use Kiwi cases. That seems like a long stroke for small bore.Anyone useing the 92"?

HC, the stroke is 5 1/2" and while we have not built a 92" ourselves, a couple of our customers have. You do have to clearance the cases (there should be enough meat to use original cases) for the rods, also around the tie bolt (the 28B314 through bolt that mounts the carb brace). There is no need to buy our cases (unless you wanted to of course Very Happy ).
